When they arrived home, Abigail immediately took him to the bathroom and made him sit on a stool while she brought out the first-aid kit.

She took out some antiseptic liquid and a piece of cotton to clean his wounds. She carefully cleaned the cut above his eyebrow.

"Hiss…" He twisted his mouth as soon as the liquid touched his sore skin.

"I am sorry," she said, quickly taking her hand back.

"It's okay. Do it." He straightened his back and closed his eyes.

She cleaned his wounds and then applied an ointment to them. She then moved to the swollen cheek and applied an ice pack to it to bring down the swelling.

As she treated his wounds, she couldn't help but think about how intense the fight had been. Christopher was insane at the time, and she assumed he would murder Jasper. Fortunately, he regained his sanity just in time and was able to control his rage.
