Chapitre 165: Poisoned

Late at night…

"Maria…" Sebastian panicked when he saw Maria pass out after puking.

Maria had become sick after dinner and puked several times. Medicine had been given, but her condition had not improved.

Sebastian became outraged. "Why hasn't the doctor come yet?" he shouted as he cradled Maria in his arms.

Rosie stayed motionless in her position. She was plainly terrified, but her eyes had a malicious gleam in them as she glanced at Maria.

"Maria…" He tried to wake her up but failed.

Meanwhile, a young man about Jasper's age hurried in. When he saw Maria limp in Sebastian's arms, he said, "Sir, we should not wait for the doctor. Let's take Madam to the hospital."

Sebastian looked at him and nodded. "Help me, Samuel."

Samuel hoisted Maria easily into his strong, muscular arms and walked out quickly. Sebastian was right behind him.
