Chapter 206: Back together
The group kept moving until they reached the backdoor of the facility. As soon as the doors opened, they were welcomed by a blast of freezing winds.
The door leads them to a mountain behind the research facility.
"Cold…" The children started to shiver immediately.
"Oh no, they are going to freeze with those clothes. Human bodies get cold very easily." Said Nami(Chopper)
The adults were all wearing warm winter clothes but the children only had some thin robes and no shoes.
"So cold…"
"I can't move anymore…"
"I'm freezing…"
The kids complained.
"I could lend someone my coat." Brook started to take it out, revealing his skeletal body.
"Ahh!" The kids started crying in horror and tried to get away from him.
"Stop that! is not helping!" Said Vivi(Nami).
"We can lend some of our clothes to the small ones, but they won't do anything for the biggest ones." Said Tashigi (Vivi).
"We were a bit hasty in bringing them out like this, but if we go back now we are going to have to fight all those marines and that Law guy." Said Sanji(Franky).
"I wouldn't mind seeing that female marine again!." Chopper(Sanji) made a very lewd expression.
"Please stop making that face while using my body…" Begged Nami(Chopper)
"Sigh…fine, I'll help." Said the samurai.
"Everyone!... Place a leaf, a stone, or something on top of your heads."
"How is that going to help against the cold? Those kids are freezing." Asked Nami(Chopper)
"Just do it, damn it!. It will help, I swear it on my honor as a samurai!"
"Come on kids, let's do what the scary detached head said." Tashigi(Vivi) started picking up small stones for the small kids and big ones for the others.
"Hold them on top of your head!" Said the samurai.
"I swear, if this is some sort of prank I will toss you downhill." Chopper(Sanji) frowned.
"Poof!" The samurai shouted and all the stones turned into winter clothes.
"What??"
"We have coats and shoes!"
"Is so warm!'"
The children exclaimed.
"Wow, how did you do that?, is that a samurai technique?" Asked Nami(Chopper)
"Don't be a fool, that has to be a devil fruit, what else?" Huffed Buggy.
"I'm not sure what it was, but a while ago I found a strange fruit and ate it. It tasted awful and I had these magical powers afterward." Explained the samurai.
"That was definitely a devil.fruit." Said Chopper(Sanji)
"I never heard about these devil fruits you speak of. But let me give you a warning. Those clothes created with my sorcery will disappear after you take them off once."
The kids nodded in understanding.
"You can do magic?!"
"That's awesome, head person, thanks!"
"The scary head is nice after all."
The children said.
"Hmph, you are welcome." Said the head.
Tashigi(Vivi) looked in the distance where a big black figure could be seen approaching.
"Looks like they are finally here."
"Hey!" Shouted Luffy.
"Luffy !, everyone!, we are here!" Shouted Nami(Chopper)
"It's them!" Said Vivi(Nami) with a smile.
They waited for Luffy's group to approach. They were traveling on top of a big man with animal legs.
"Is that a centaur?" Asked Chopper(Sanji)
"Those are definitely not horse legs..." Vivi(Nami) was looking at the reptilian legs with apprehension.
After getting down, Luffy and Zoro proceed to tie down the half-human half-reptile person, with some chains.
Meanwhile, Robin gave them a quick explanation of what happened to them and how they encountered these hybrids of humans and animals.
"Right…that other guy mentioned something about this. Some side effects of a medicine or something. Could it be that? " Wondered Vivi(Nami).
"Ah!, that's my lower body!" The samurai head exclaimed and the legs came running to him, picked the head up, and placed it on top.
He then started laughing.
"I'm almost complete again!"
"Nooo!, my hindlegs!" Luffy became cresfallen.
"See?, I told you there was no such creature. " Said Usopp.
"By the way." Chopper(Sanji) came running to Robin and rubbed against her.
"Have you missed me, my beloved Robin?" He said while making a perverted expression.
Robin opened her eyes widely.
"What's wrong with Chopper?!"
Vivi came running and grabbed the deer.
"Is not Chopper the one who is wrong!"
"Please, Nami. Be careful with my head!" Pleaded Nami(Chooper).
Tashigi(Vivi) sighed.
"We have a lot to explain on our side too."
Zoro was looking at her with an intense glare.
"What are you doing here?"
A smirk appeared on Tashigi's (Vivi) face.
"Don't get your hopes up, Cyclops. I'm not your girlfriend."
Chopper(Sanji) started laughing loudly.
"Ha!, Take that, mosshead!."
"What is going on?, Why is Chopper acting so weird? and why is that marine here?" Asked Luffy.
"Is not just Chopper. There is something strange about the others too." Robin gave a passing glance over them.
"Don't look at me, I still have my own body!" Huffed Buggy.
"Me too!" Brooke raised his hand.
"I'm actually Chopper." Said Nami.
"I'm nami." Said Vivi.
"You are definitely Sanji…" Said Robin while looking at Chopper.
"Can you guess who I am?" Tashigi gave Zoro a wink.
"Grr…Vivi…" The swordsman spat.
"Right, and I am Franky." Said Sanji.
"And the marine is in Franky's body, Is that why is missing?" Asked Usopp.
"That's right, Franky is not here!" Luffy just realized.
"How did this happen? and why are those children with you?" Asked Robin.
"Well, let me start from the beginning..." Said Tashigi(Vivi).
