Chapitre 55: Full on infiltration of the infiltrators

➜[ Middleton]

A helicopter flew above the infested town of Middleton - every section of the town had a group of mutants near, there were no clear areas, it made the place seem like a home for mutants only.

The doorway of the the helicopter was opened to its fullest and neither the pilot nor the passenger seemed phased by that. In fact the passanger was stood in the open doorway holding onto the side of the helicopter while gazing down at the town.

"How are you feeling kiddo?" Grandpa asked Cameron.

Cameron takes a deep breath and then asnwers with, "I'm feeling great."

- Cameron wore the strike force attire made in his size.

"We're at our destination, so if you want to get off now, it's up to you kiddo."

Cameron activates the omnitrix and presses over to the alien he wants, "I'm ready grandpa." He took a step back from the open doorway.

"Remember the plan, now go wild kiddo!"

[ Middleton [ Davenport Residential ]

Xene sprinted through the household. She accelerated up the stairs and made her way to the upstairs area where she tackled one of the doors open.

"Their starting." The masked person said when Xene opened the door.

"Should we gather up the front lines?" Xene raised a question.

"Yes, the war between the Cult and the world begins today. Humans Vs Mutants!"

"The ultimate battle." Hunter voiced.

"Xene, find Aiden and gather up the fighters who will be guarding the base from the inside. Hunter you already made your wish, so you will be in the front."

"Are we starting the machine?"

"Obviously. By the time they make it pass our defences the machine will have started already."

"Let's do this."

➜ [ Middleton ]

Cameron was stood on the back of a mutant that was seconds away from crashing into a building with a offline Omnitrix.

"We really need to speak about this things timing." Cameron looked around for anything that could give him a handle, "Fuck. I've taken like most of these things, I have nothing t- oh spoke to soon."

A mutant was lifting up from beneath the bug mutant that was about to crash. Cameron ran to the end of the bug Mutant and leaped off of him and fell right onto the mutant that was beneath them.

"Mind giving me a ride?"

The mutant tried shaking Cameron off for awhile - the mutant exploded into the sky hoping the pressure would force Cameron to let go.

The helicopter tackled straight into the mutant throwing him and Cameron off balance. The helicopter quickly pushed down after Cameron and stopped vertically beneath him.

Cameron fell straight into the helicopter with no struggle.

"I still got it, don't I kiddo?"

"Whatever makes you happy grandpa." Cameron replied rubbing his head.

"That watch of yours is on a five minute timer am I correct?"

"Six minutes, but yeah."

"Lucky for us you wasted some good time dealing with that mutant issue, the watch should be closer to full power now."

"I wouldn't exactly say that, sometimes it takes longer than six minutes to charge."

"That thing is one helluva a mystery, let's just hope it charges up before the front lines arrive."

"We can still kill a few minutes, there are still some flying mutants here."

Grandpa smirked pressing a button in the helicopter that built out a blaster from beneath the helicopter.

Six flying mutants came charging toward the helicopter that flew up for some room and then positioned itself down so it could fire at the mutants below it.

The second the mutants flew up after the helicopter it started firing down at them. The mutants stopped strong in their tracks and split apart from one another to get more dodging room.

The helicopter flew down and chased after two of the mutants that were flying together. The mutants wanted to split apart, but something in their just told them to turn and fight back. Their plan clearly failed, they both got blasted by a barrage of lasers.

Three flying mutants tried attacking from above. The helicopter moved up, cutting through the mutants. The helicopter moved to an open spot in the town that wasn't crowded by much mutants.

"The watch is ready, right kiddo?"

Cameron flashes the green watch with the dial popped up, to his grandpa, "You bet."

"I can see they've got their armoured guards out, so you know what to do next."

"Of-"

The helicopter tilted a bit throwing Cameron out the open doorway. Cameron slammed his palm onto the dial. His hands curved and his shoulder blades stretched out while his head pulled in.

His vision was dark when he landed on his knee,"...what happens when you take Repulsion and mix it with a magnetic lodestone..."  He opens the eyes of his metalic head, "You get ReLode."

ReLode raised his arm shooting off a green pulse that pushed into the sky. The entire town started shaking aggressively as a rumble echoed through the streets.

A small amount of minutes passed before the echo became louder. Suddenly a bunch of armoured wearing mutants pushed in toward Relode. He waited a few more seconds before dropping his arm.

ReLode smirks, "Perfect." He lifted himself up from one knee and looked around at the metallic machines and armour wearing mutants that surrounded him, "This must be all of you right?"

The machines moved in front of the mutants, aimed and then fired blazers at the metal head alien. ReLode threw his  arms out, generating a green force field around him.

The laser fires shot against the force field instead of against their target. More machines started firing at the force field, slowly shrinking it down by each shot.  A look of struggle could be seen on the face of ReLode as he tried holding up the field after each laser fire.

After a couple more rapid fires, everything stopped. The metal head alien waited patiently for a couple seconds just so he could make sure they were finished.

"Done?" ReLode asked a no shit question, and after getting the obvious reply of nothing, he extended the force field to include all the machines around him. "My turn." ReLode pulled in the force field and with it, he pulled in all the machines. He threw his arms to the front and all the machines that were sucked went in forward.

The machines crashed through a bunch of households. The mutants nodded to one another and moved in closer to surround ReLode.

"That didn't get you guys?" He raised a question, "And here I am thinking I've finally gotten a handle on this guy."

The mutants all raced toward Relode who cocked his arm back upwards and when the mutants were inches close to him, he shot his arm down to the ground sending in a green pulse that threw all the mutants wearing armour into the sky.

"I thought you guys were gonna stop or something, but that totally works."

ReLode raised his arms acute and then pushed them across one another, spinning the armoured mutants into a hurricane like circle. He pulled one of his arms down sending the mutants to the ground, but right before they could crash he aimed his other arm at a building and the mutants followed suite and went straight into the building.

"Yes!" ReLode jumped in excitement, "I can't believe that actually worked-"

A sword came hurdling in the direction of ReLode, and just before he could react the sword knocked into his head throwing his metallic head away from his body.

"I'm impressed that you're still able to move around." A familiar voice said.

"I didn't even know my head could do that." ReLode pulled his head back to him with the magnetic force from his arm, "Wait... You're that ninja mask guy from awhile back."

"Ninja? You're flattering, but I'm no ninja. I'm a mutant that has enhanced human capabilities."

"So you're a super solider."

"If that is what you're comfortable calling me then sure. Anyway, you're out numbered omnitrix holder, we have an army of mutants coming, and I can trust you that they aren't wearing any armour."

The omnitrix blinked between green and white, "Your army couldn't have came at the right moment-" The omnitrix flashed green reverting Cameron, "-because my army is here as well."

The helicopter dropped down a ladder that Cameron jumped onto. Hunter causally allowed Cameron to climb onto the ladder since he was now the least of his worries.

The helicopter pushed higher into the sky and both Cameron and grandpa were able to see a bunch of mutants making their way to where Hunter was stood. Marcy came crashing down in front of Hunter from another helicopter that was above them. The mutants started racing to where Hunter was so they could reach Marcy.

Cameron turned to where Marcy was stood and a bunch of Peacemakers were sprinting to where Marcy was. Marcy and Hunter shared a look of acknowledgement before both rushing in toward one another, with their individual armies making their way to them.

"Seems like Marcy has things under control down there."

"Yeah, the frontlines are clear, now we have to make our way into the backlines, and since you cleared out all the air fighters, our helicopters won't have any problem dropping men in that area."

"You really planned this whole thing out."

Marcy threw in a punch that Hunter ducked under. Hunter then went in for an uppercut that Marcy was able to avoid.

As the two moved back to gather some room from another, their individual armies came sprinting into their battlefield and stood strongly behind them.

"You guys really came prepared." Hunter noted.

"I would love to tell you it was easy, but you'd know I'd be lying seeing how secure you've made this place."

"We work."

Hunter sprinted in after Marcy and the rest of his mutant partners followed behind him. Marcy sprinted after Hunter and the rest of her strike force teammates followed behind her.

The second her fist and Hunters fist clashed. The armies clashed into one another and started fighting their hearts out. The mutants at first could be seen grabbing the advantage, but the strike force members quickly moved the fight into a stalemate when they brought out their weapons and gadgets.

Hunter landed two punches to the face of Marcy. Marcy was then able to get him back with one punch to the stomach and a perfect roundhouse kick to the cheek.

"Best fighter my ass."

Marcy moved in and started throwing in more fistful of punches, each punch moved Hunter back by the second. Hunter then grit his teeth and threw his head against Marcy's head moving her back with blood running down her forehead while his mask broke off his face.

"Now it's serious."

[ Middleton] Backlines

A bunch of other Peacemakers members jumped off their choppers and landed on the bridge. Commander Stirfield made his way down. Cameron wanted to join, but the watch was still offline.

"There's no way it's just a simple walk through the door."

"You have no idea, how much I wish that's what it is."

Commander Rayy sprints forward, but was clearly held back by Stirfield.

"We have a clear path in."

"Commander Rayy, this is clearly their way of trying to trick-"

A golem landed right in front of the three commanders and some of their Peacemaker operatives. The Golem roared.

The commanders pulled out their blasters and with no question started firing at the face of the golem. The golem used his arm to block the blasts from touching his face.

"LOOK ABOVE!"

The commanders raised their heads and about ten Mimicks landed on the face of the Golem. The Golem unable to see tried taking the mimicks off his face, but they were far too small so the golem resorted to the best option and punched their own face.

The golem was able to get rid of the Mimicks from their face and when the Golem gained their vision they were met with a barrage of blasts to their face. The Mimicks held on strongly on the finger of the golem.

The golem roared and jumped two inches up before slamming their fist into the ground dropping the Mimicks.

"You okay Lenardo jr?" Stirfield asked.

The ten Mimicks picked themselves up and showed Stirfield a thumbs up.

"Listen here big guy, when you mess with one of us-"

The Golem stomped his foot down onto the Mimicks. Stirfield's entire body went pale.

"LENARD-"

A Mimick pops out from the ground in front of Stirfield "-we're okay."

A bunch more Mimicks pop out from the ground, but these ones were in front of the the Golem. The golem roared and started stomping everywhere trying to get the Mimicks, but they were far too tricky.

The Peacemaker members continued firing at the golem making it hard for the golem to focus on the Mimick clones. The golem released a roar so strong that it created cracks in the ground, the golem while glowing purple broke into two smaller versions of itself.

"That does not look helpful."
