Rob had ended up pulling together the Inquisitions’ own version of a kill team. Appropriately considering the mission of the Inquisition, this kind of taskforce was called a peacekeeping unit.

They weren’t playing around either.

When I brought Rob, Julia, and the rest of the leadership to the school where I had met with the kill team, no fewer than fifty Inquisitors came with us, each equipped with full assault gear.

Body armor, assault rifles, the works.

The Inquisition didn’t normally break out their armories like this. I don’t know if it’s because Julia was the one being threatened, the fact that it was the whole town being threatened, or if it was just the chance to deal with a kill team, but the Inquisition wasn’t taking this lightly in the least.
