The next day Felicity woke feeling a type of happiness she hadn't felt in a long time. There were no villains in her story anymore. They had perished. Along with that, she felt Julian finally at rest.

She woke up and glanced at Weston who hadn't left her side since she walked out of that apartment building. She felt he feared losing her again. She knew exactly what loss felt like and fear and everything in between. She hated that Weston had to experience that and she would do everything in her power from then on to calm any fears still lingering in his mind.

He opened his beautiful eyes and stared at her sweetly. For once there was nothing to investigate.

"I think I want to wear a new hat," he said. She looked at him oddly.

"You want to go to the store and find one?" She was confused because he never wore hats outside of the station.

"No, like a new job."

"Why didn't you just say that then?" she chuckled.
