Chapitre 73: Beau's Regret

"What did you just say?" Emilia asks with intrigue.

"That Hartavian bastard, he convinced everyone that the Westerners were the ones who killed Bethel. There's a whole record of it in the private library. My ancestors left diaries with warnings about Hartavian and the Northerners. I can get them if you want?" Traf offers.

"Really? That would be great!" Emilia says happily. 

Traf nods and goes to retrieve the journals. While he's away, Isaac decides to bring up his concerns to Emilia.

"Hey Em, are you sure it's okay for us to have accepted this guy's help so easily? You wanted it to be a secret, remember? Plus he's bound to start asking for more details as we delve deeper into this search. I know you're desperate for answers but maybe you're letting yourself become blinded by your desire? I mean a big portion of this involves Dietrich and he doesn't even know as much as you've revealed to Traf…" Isaac points out.
