Carolina was on fire.
After the people of Airon took over the city, the survivors were taken to the stadium where everyone had set up a temporary base until the city was completely safe.
But in the meantime, everyone had to be patient and keep their spirits up. The overall workload had increased, and after the first batch of soldiers had been sent, many more arrived.
As for the Fireflies, they were all taken to the Georgia base where they would be interrogated and depending on the results, the people of Airon would decide whether they are a threat or not.
The days were tough, Airon along with expert military logistics made a plan in a few hours to remove most of the walkers from the city, but there were still thousands hidden in numerous buildings and underground tunnels.
...
The field where the SCT soldiers were stationed was hell on earth, especially when the objective was complete cleansing.
Many soldiers died day by day, either by accidents or encountering special walkers. After all, combat gear cannot save everyone and sometimes there are failures.
Tony had always been a brave young man. He grew up in a family that valued courage and honor, and he always dreamed of serving his country. When the walker outbreak began, Tony was one of the first to enlist in the military. He knew he had a duty to protect his fellow citizens from the threat of the undead and was determined to do whatever it takes to keep them safe.
Tony was sent to the frontlines of the war against walkers in South Carolina, where he quickly proved to be a skilled and fearless soldier. He fought bravely against the hordes of undead, always putting the safety of his fellow soldiers and civilians first. He never hesitated to risk his own life if it meant saving someone else's.
One day, Tony and his unit were sent on a mission to eliminate a large horde of W-2 class walkers that had been detected near a densely populated area. The mission was dangerous and risky, but Tony and his comrades were determined to complete it. They knew that if they failed, countless innocent lives would be lost, and the task would be delayed.
The reason why a team was sent instead of using special means by another group is that these walkers detect humans hidden under a walker mask. This is a fact that has been known for some time, and using a helicopter in such a closed area is definitely complicated.
As they approached the horde of walkers, Tony could feel his heart racing with anticipation. He knew this would be his greatest challenge yet, but he was ready for it. He had trained hard for this moment and had confidence in his skills.
The battle was bloody and intense. The walkers were relentless and seemed to attack the soldiers from all sides. Tony fought with all his might, using his training and weapons to hold back the tide of the undead. But no matter how hard he fought, it seemed there were always more walkers to take their place.
As the battle raged on, Tony could feel his energy dwindling. He had been fighting for hours and was exhausted. But he knew he couldn't give up. He had to keep fighting, no matter what.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the horde of walkers began to dwindle. Tony could see that they were making progress and felt a surge of hope. But then, out of nowhere, a massive walker appeared. It didn't look like any walker Tony had seen before. It was faster, stronger, and smarter than any of the others.
Tony knew he had to defeat this special class walker if they wanted to win the battle. He charged forward, his weapon raised high. The special class walker met him head-on and the two faced off in a brutal fight.
The battle was fierce and Tony could feel his strength fading. But he refused to give up. He fought with all his might, determined to take down this special class walker to the bitter end.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Tony landed a fatal blow. The special class walker fell to the ground and Tony felt a surge of triumph. But then, he felt a sharp pain in his side. He looked down and saw that he had been bitten by the walker.
Tony knew what this meant. He had seen it happen to many of his fellow soldiers. He was going to turn into a walker himself.
With tears in his eyes, Tony turned to his fellow soldiers and said, "Finish the mission..." With infinite words in his chest he gasped and said: "Protect the future of humanity and always move forward with the commander, warn them that there are special classes hiding in the buildings, I will hold off the others as much as I can."
And with that, Tony charged back into the fray, fighting the horde of walkers with everything he had left. He knew he didn't have much time, but he refused to let his fellow soldiers down.
As the walker virus began to take hold, Tony felt his strength fading. But he kept fighting, driven by the knowledge that he was giving his life for the future of humanity.
Finally, Tony couldn't fight anymore. He collapsed to the ground, his body wracked with pain. He knew he was dying, but he didn't regret anything.
And with his last bit of strength, he held onto some grenades and his last words were: "Glory to humanity!"
Boom!
The massive explosion destroyed all the remaining walkers and everyone knew then that there were many other walkers like the ones that Airon and his team had eliminated before the operation began, so from now on everyone would be extremely prepared.
...
A few days later.
Subway station.
The elite soldiers of the S.C.T. advanced slowly and cautiously, their weapons at the ready. They had been sent to neutralize a very dangerous special class walker that had been terrorizing the area and they knew it would be a tough fight.
As they approached the special class walker, they could see that it didn't look like anything they had seen before. It was huge, easily twice the size of a normal human, and had a sharp claw in its right hand that glinted menacingly in the light of their flashlights.
The soldiers dispersed, forming a loose perimeter around the walker. They knew they had to be on guard at all times, or risk being eliminated by the creature's deadly claw.
The giant walker growled threateningly, looking at the soldiers with what seemed to be a twisted sense of amusement. It was clear that he enjoyed the idea of taking them down one by one.
The soldiers of the S.C.T., however, were not intimidated. They had been trained for moments like this and knew how to work together as a team.
With a sudden burst of speed, the giant walker charged towards the soldiers, its claw cutting through the air. The soldiers reacted quickly, dodging and zigzagging to avoid the deadly attack.
One of the soldiers, a man named John, managed to land a glancing blow with his rifle. The special class walker roared in pain, but it was clear that the blow had only made it angrier.
The soldiers continued to surround the walker, looking for an opening. They knew they had to stay out of the reach of the creature's deadly claw, but they also needed to find a way to take it down.
After several minutes of intense fighting, the soldiers finally found their opportunity. The special class walker lunged forward and its claw slashed one of the soldiers. But this time, the soldier was ready.
With a quick move, he dodged the attack and then, in a moment of desperation, launched himself at the walker. The enemy was taken by surprise, and the soldier managed to plunge his knife deeply into its chest.
The giant walker let out a terrible scream and then fell to the ground, dead.
The soldiers let out a collective sigh of relief. They had won, but it had been a very close victory.
As they regrouped and began to return to base, the soldiers reflected on what they had just accomplished. They had faced a deadly enemy and had emerged victorious. And although they knew there would be more fights like this in the future, they were ready to face them head on.
For the elite soldiers of the S.C.T., there was no challenge too great, no obstacle too daunting. They were the best of the best and knew they had the skills and determination to face whatever came their way.
