Everyone in the community, whether they were standing in the wall, looked at T-dog stunned. They should know that it usually takes at least two people to kill a walker like that.
Gale, who was happy to see his best friend's grandson, froze at the sight of that man's prowess, vaguely remembering that even soldiers couldn't stand up to walkers.
T-dog's blows were big blows as if it were a hammer, the force generated was a lot and to smash the head of an old walker it didn't take much. However, this was something expected even by someone like T-dog.
Airon greatly regretted T-dog's death in the original story, no one but Carl remembered his death some time later. He knew that if that man could have survived a few more days, he would have been a true survivor and yes he wasn't wrong when he thought about it.
Watching T-dog tear those walkers apart right now, makes him happy to know that many people had made it further because of their own decisions. Even though he wasn't someone excellent, he was trying his best to make things like this happen.
As for shooting, no one in Gale's shelter dared to do that at all, not to mention the fact that they were low on bullets right now, to consider opening fire with their low aiming skills was just wasting resources.
It had happened before, as soon as the walkers heard a shot, ten of them would come out from all corners towards the door of their shelter.
Later, like any other survivor they also learned to be smart, relying on the wall of their small base, but very few people were the ones who survived when they went out in search of resources. Without the stimulation of living people, the number of walkers in the vicinity of this survivor base was very low.
Now, as soon as this group of people appeared, the sound of the engines attracted many hidden walkers, but they eliminated them themselves, which surprised him quite a bit.
But if there was anyone surprised it was Logan, but he quickly introduced Airon's people by arguing that even he didn't know how skilled these people were at eliminating walkers.
"Gale, these men are a group that saved me at a mall, Airon is their leader and he's that man in the distance. If it wasn't for their help I couldn't have held out much longer alone."
At this point, Airon had approached the gate with Daryl and Negan following behind him, watching every movement of both the people inside the gate and standing on the wall.
"I'm sure they've had a bad time, I hope my arrival isn't unwelcome." Airon said with a modest smile.
"Of course not, haha!" But Gale wasn't too optimistic like his friend's grandson. He looked cautiously at the few people getting out of the Humvees but two people still remained inside, one in the machine gun and one in the driver's seat. However, he still fixed his gaze again and smiled at Airon.
"Thank you very much for saving my friend's grandson, you can call me Gale, right now we will bring you some food to reward your effort and great help."
"No, Mr. Gale, although it is true that they came to this place because of me."
"I didn't know that, what is the reason you are looking for us?"
The old man's attitude seemed strange, but Gale didn't say much, "Saving people alive is a matter of duty for me and my people, not to mention that Logan is a fine young man we met by chance. Shouldn't we look out for each other?"
"Mutual care for each other old man, I think this shit will interest you and your people a lot." Negan said with a big grin.
"We're going to be doing big things in Birmingham, so it would be good for you guys to be aware and obviously on our side."
Hearing these sharp words, Gale's expression didn't fluctuate at all, as if he didn't understand the inner meaning.
"Hehe, Mr. Airon, you are a great person. I don't have much to offer you. We don't have much food left and of weapons we can't offer you much either. I will do my best to cooperate in whatever you need. But if we can do anything for you right now it is to let you eat a little."
Daryl who heard the old man's words said with some disgust, "We don't need your food, what's this attitude you have? We saved that kid and now you're chasing us away like we're fucking thieves."
Airon was sure the other party understood, but he didn't want to contact them for some reason. What this reason was, he couldn't guess at the moment.
After things got tense, some more people came out of the door, obviously these men were younger and stronger.
If it was in other places, the appearance of these people would not make Airon feel anything, but now that Gale had just shown his revulsion to outsiders as the last leader of Oceanside, and now some people came out of the door which made Airon a little upset.
The few people who came out had smiles on their faces and their eyes lingered on the armored vehicle for a moment, then they began to look at various people's equipment and weapons and finally turned their eyes back to Airon.
The leader seemed to have noticed that Airon appeared to be the leader of the group, he eagerly stepped forward and stretched out his hand a few feet away, obviously wanting to shake his hand.
"This kid just eye fucked us, did you feel it Daryl?" Muttered Negan with a grin. This time he didn't have his bat in his hands, but was now carrying a huge automatic rifle.
"Welcome everyone, I'm one of the guards here. You can call me Snow. It looks like your group has been gone a long time, if I'm looking for a place to stay you can do so in our community."
Just when this guy named Snow proposed the invitation, Airon could clearly feel the change in Gale's expression but he seemed to hesitate, he just opened his mouth but couldn't say anything.
There's a fly on the cake!
The attitudes of these two people are diametrically opposed. Judging by the current situation, the two groups should be opposites. So what makes them opposites? Opinions? Interests? Or other reasons?
Many thoughts went through his mind at the same time, but it was only for a moment, and the other party did not notice anything strange, and yet he calmly said, "You are wrong, the purpose of coming to this place is over, now we retreat."
Snow shook his head, shook his index finger and muttered. "No, no, I don't think you understand the point of this matter. Let me tell you why you should stay."
He paused and flashed a mysterious smile, "That's because of what..."
"Wait, Snow!"
Having been interrupted in the middle of the speech, Snow frowned a little sadly and turned his eyes to Gale, who interrupted him loudly.
"What's wrong with Gale, do you have anything else to say?"
Gale is apparently one of the leaders of this shelter, and Snow interrupted him just as he was about to explain.
"You know the rules, don't I need to say more?"
"I know!"
After getting an affirmative answer, several people contentedly entered the courtyard gate. Gale breathed a sigh of relief.
He ignored his best friend's bewildered nephew standing next to him and walked directly toward the armored vehicle outside the base gate.
"Listen, we're here because for some special reasons, you can't be allowed in. I'll prepare some supplies for some of you, and I hope you'll accept them and leave."
Seeing the two enter through the courtyard gate, Airon's group had a chance to discuss in hushed tones.
Negan was the first to speak up, "They can't see the size of my gun?"
"Airon, there seems to be a lot going on here, shall we get involved?" muttered Daryl.
"That man named Snow seems to be the weirdo on the base, won't we take all of Birmingham?"
"Since we don't know the situation here, let's find out!"
The group unconsciously looked at their hand, where a small insect lay silently.
"Everyone be prepared, possibly they are enemies. I want Abraham to be informed about this, and have the cleaning group approach this place."
"Yes, boss!"
