Chapitre 2: Chapter 2: Supporter's Examination
Cole, who was watching the golden blonde haired girl with golden eyes eat her jagamarukun in small bites. Relaxed back and returned to eating his own jagamarukun. As the two seemed to be the only ones present of the same age. They were mostly ignored or sneered at by the other older adventurer's.
After a few minutes Cole remembered something and asked the girl. "Did you already register for the examination?" Only to receive a nod in response. Nodding back to her, he finished his food in afew more bites and relaxed as he watched the crowd of adventurer's showing to each other.
Some were acting very arrogantly yelling about how they were high level adventurers and should be shown hospitality and given priority. others were just loudly talking to the people around them about their exploits in the dungeon.
Just when he thought that he would have to wait the rest of the time in silence, he heard the girl talk in a quiet voice. "Why did you want to join?"
Turning to her, "To become stronger and explore the lowest floors possible, I want to go futher then anyone has gone before. You?" He asked after answering her question. "To become stronger." She responded to Cole and he felt like she had seen him in a new light as she flash a small smile to him before returning to her impassive face.

In a room on the second floor of the Twilight Manor overlooking the training grounds. Two people stood watching the crowd of applicants who were waiting restlessly in front of the Manor for the examination to start. These were two of the Loki Familiars top executives Finn Dinme and Gareth Landrock.
"Aii. Seems like it's almost time to start Finn, don't you think?" The heavy set dwarf with a lush beard spoke to the small child like blonde-haired blue eyed pallum next to him.
Nodding in confirmation while observing the scene outside Finn replied casually. "Yes, Well it looks like everyone who is going to arrive has already come. So let's go." Turning, the two executives made their way downstairs towards the entrance of the Twilight Manor.

" Look the Doors opening!" Called out a random adventurer.
It was indeed so. As the doors to the Twilight Manor opened, Cole and Ais who were having a nice discussion and getting to know each other got up fron their seat and moved to the crowd, two people stepped out the doors as the crowd gradually started to settle down and become quiet. One of the two was a blonde-haired pallum who led the way and was closely followed by a brown-haired and bearded dwarf.
"Alright, Raul. How many past the first stage?" Asked the pallum as he looked at the clerk who had been taking the registration forms.
"Anju, Ais, Bara, Claire, Cole, Dain, Kevin, Liza, Kalos, Sonia..." He listed off names until he named about ninety people. as the clerk now known Familia menber continued to call out the names on his list, some of the previously arrogant and rowdy adventurer's had their faces contorted as they couldn't hear their names. "That's all of them. Captain." Said Raul as he finished reading the list of the people who had past the first stage out for his captain.
"Alright, Those of you who have passed the first stage please come closer. As for the others, thank you for your time. However, we won't be able to accept any of you into the Familia. we welcome you to try again next time." As he finished the ninety people who had their names called began to make their way to the front where the pallum instructed. Cole and Ais followed suit as they walk together.
"Hey! Why aren't our names called as well? how come two little brats succeeded the test while we, who are the strongest level one and level two adventurer's failed?" Called out one of the adventurer's who had been claiming they should be shown special treatment for even showing up shouted in anger.
"Well, that's simple now isn't it?" Answered the dwarf as he turned to face the man with a smile. "When we sent out the notice of this recruitment there were clear instructions given for you to follow upon arrival, and you didn't do it because you think you are better then others. We don't need those kinds of people in our Familia. He said turning around again and walking towards the training grounds centre with the pallum.
"Yeah but that's those guys! I only couldn't make it through the crowd blocking the registration table, why should I be lopped in with those guys." another man called out.
"Yeah! it's not our fault you only had one person giving out registration forms!"
"If you had arrived early then you wouldn't have that problem." Gareth said turning once more to face the crowd. " Now leave, before I make you." He said unleashing some of his aura as a level five adventurer, Intimidating the unwilling crowd into retreating.
Cole and Ais followed the other adventurer's as they made their way towards the centre of the training grounds, as they arrived the two youngsters found themselves behind a wall of flesh and armour, looking to the side Cole tapped Ais on the shoulder and motioned her to follow him. Apon reaching the end of the line they could finally see what was going on. the pallum and dwarf were standing there waiting for everyone to calm down first before speaking.
"Okay everyone first off, congratulations on making it through the first test, we will now begin the second stage of this assessment. there are ninety people here, we would like you to form into groups of two and pick a leader. then we will test you on your combat capabilities. you have two minutes, okay? you can start now." He said as he turned silent and waited. Cole and Ais just looked at each other with a slight smile and nodded. the rest of the adventurer's ignored them anyway as they all thought the two kids would only drag them down.
As the adventurer's where picking partners and deciding who would be the leader, the two top executives of the Loki Familia looked at the adventurer's, they were amazed to see two kids simply look at each other, nod and look back at them. either they were confident in each other's ability or they knew no one else would be willing to take them on as partners.
Soon, the two minutes was up and quite a few adventurer's still hadn't picked a partner yet as they where all trying to pick the most powerful team mates or could not decide on the leadership and fell out with their partners. Unfortunately for them. Time waits for no one and the pallum spoke up once more. "Alright, to the teams that have formed, have the team captains come forward and report your name and that of your team mates." As he said this Raul stepped forward with a piece paper on a clipboard and a pen ready to write down the names.
Looking at the others the pallum coldly said "As for the others you are dismissed. We are an exploration familia and when you are given a instruction we expect it to follow to the letter and with all due haste. since you can't even do a simple task like this we can not allow you to join the familia and risk the lifes of its members. Best of luck next time. Atleast you'll have a step up on your future colleague's."
The adventurers that fail to find teams were ashen and withdrew gloomily some muttering angrily while others started throwing insults at each other.
after each team had went up to declare their names, the pallum moved on. "Okay ladies and gentlemen I will introduce myself to you all now. My name is Finn Dinme and I am the Captain of the Loki Familia, my companion here is called Gareth Landrock, he is one of our familiars top executives. Now that introductions are out of the way I'd like to welcome you all to the Loki Familia congratulations on passing." He said with a smile, everyone was stunned briefly but soon broke out into cheer. Cole looked on in surprise and when he turned to look at Ais, she had her head tilted cutely to the side in confusion.
"Yes, yes, good work everyone. Now, lets get this combat evaluation started so we can gage everyones capabilities, after that Loki-sama will be unlocking your Falna to officially join the familia."
