She sighs, her hot breath fanning against my neck where she hides her face. I rub circles on her back and kiss her hair, not at all in a hurry to remove her from my bed, both of us waiting to level our breathing. For a moment, neither of us speaks. We just lay there, content and sated. 

Until she freezes, and I feel her heart race again from where her bare chest is pressed against mine.

I peer down to see her face, move her hair away from it, and tuck it behind her ear. She doesn't meet my gaze but her expression tells me she's starting to regret what just happened.

"You okay?" I ask in a calm and gentle voice, hoping that will make her feel better.

"I… I can't believe I just did that." She bites her lip.

"Did what?" I try the light-hearted route. "Have the best orgasm of your life?"
