"You have to stop what you are doing, Selena," Gwen said after she opened the door for me while Neil was holding me in place since I felt so dizzy.

"Why, what is wrong with my life, Gwen? I am having fun; you were complaining when I was sulking in my room the whole day, and now that I am enjoying my life as a single woman, you are telling me to stop?" I asked as my words slurred, and my vision became blurry since I felt so sleepy.

"You can't be drunk every other day!" She angrily said, and I just laughed.

"This is not you, Selena. It would be best if you were strong," she added.

"Strong? Why do you say that? I am a strong woman, Gwen. I won't be here standing wasted in front of you if I am not strong." I countered.

"Skyler is not worth it, don't ruin your life because he abandoned you for the third time," my sister declared, and it felt like she slapped me hard on my face.
