Selena's POV
The following morning, Isaac cooked breakfast, and he took me out during lunch. He didn't leave me, no matter how I assured him I would be okay.
"Are you sure about this? I don't want you to be absent the whole day because of me." I told him after we started eating inside the restaurant near his building.
"I took a day off," he replied with a smile.
"Are you from Vazilia Grande?" I asked, and he shook his head and gave me one of his charming smiles.
"Nope, I came from Santa Clara, too," he responded.
"So, you also stayed in their estate?" I asked.
"Yes, our family lives in your house; actually, my dad was the one who replaced your father's position after your family left the Alcarazo estate." He answered, and it made sense why he looked attached to Stanley and Pam.
"Oh, I see," I mumbled as I looked away. I couldn't stop thinking about that house, especially my favorite spot, the swing under the Mango tree.
