Chapitre 30: The Confession

Selena's POV

"You got this, Selena, don't let your nervousness take over your sanity. You are beautiful, and I love the way you looked today. I didn't expect you would buy a new dress for Skyler." Stanley said after the end of the second quarter.

"This isn't new, my dad gave this to me, actually, this is for my mom," I said.

"Oh, I see, are you okay?" he asked as he looked at me with concern.

"Yeah, I am fine," I replied while I could hear the cheers of the students of the opposing team.

The Santa Clara Eagles are in the lead from the first quarter until the third quarter, while the spectators are getting crazy cheering for Skyler; my heart was having a tidal wave of emotions.

I don't know what to do, Stanley was giving me all the encouragement that I needed, but I felt sacred. When I looked at Skyler when coach Harry called for a time out; he was staring in my direction, and my entire body felt so hot.
