When he arrived home, Arthur could feel Carla's aura which meant she was back from Paris.

Despite flying home, Arthur still entered the house through the front door, and found Isabel sitting in the living room, still wearing the clothes from the afternoon. She didn't even seem to have washed her face.

Piles of documents were arranged in front of her and she read them one by one.

Who knew what they contained, but being a state official was not a relaxing job.

The good thing was that he was a Magus so she could be active longer while on the move.

Sensing Arthur's arrival, she turned her gaze towards him.

However, she only looked at him briefly before going back to reading the documents. It seemed that she was so focused that she couldn't think of anything to say.

Arthur approached her, and glanced at the documents which turned out to contain various data from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Arthur said nothing, and sat down opposite her.
