Chapitre 39: Eat

Amanda opened her mouth at Arthur's words, looking like she was recalling the fairy tales she often heard as a child.

Then, she took another breath. Once, twice, three times, four times. Only after that did she speak. "Unexpected, totally unexpected!"

She held her lips, looking like she was about to bite her fingers while her eyes were still fixed on Arthur's figure.

"You don't feel devastated seeing this unwanted reality do you?" he said with the aim of stopping her gaze.

A beggar on the street may wish for a change in the world, such as the appearance of a mysterious power so that there is a greater chance for them to change their destiny.
