Azalea POV
I definitely wasn’t ready for this. The last people I wanted to see right now were my parents.
I’m hurt, frustrated and angry. How am I supposed to control myself right now?
“Well … I don’t think being here for a few weeks did you any good, you put on a lot of weight. And child! Have you heard of clothes?!” said my mother with a look of disgust.
“Octavia, are you fucking crazy? why are you talking to your daughter like that?”
“I’m her mother... don’t forget that dear sister.”
I couldn’t help but laugh, it wasn’t a happy laugh, more like a sinister one. I walked past them without speaking and went to my room to wear something. As I was dressed, I went downstairs to face the music.
As I entered the living room, they were all seated, including my mates, both of them. With their presence I felt powerful to deal with my parents once and for all. I had to, because this time I could only feel danger and betrayal from them, not an ounce of love or sympathy.
