Maya was in the office at their house. She was sitting on a chair with laptop at the front of her, drinking wine and just doing little things on the laptop. She didn’t have much to do today. She was just checking some documents and replying to some emails.

Her phone started ringing and showed Adam. Maya breaths out as she looked at it. She carried the phone on the desk and decided to pick the call. Adam had been calling and chatting with her for days now.

“Hello” Maya said in cool tone.

“Hello, beautiful woman. How are you doing?” Adam asked with smiling face. He was inside the car, parked along the road side.

“I’m good. Why are you calling? I will appreciate if you can talk fast because I’m working” Maya said gently. She had tired as Adam was calling her all days.

“I just call to check on you. I call to ask of how you are doing” he replied. Maya rested her back on the chair, made herself confortable.
