Chapitre 177: The first time bantering with her mother

"CHRISTINA!!!!"

Christina jolted awake from her daydream and turned towards the person who was screaming her name.

"Mom, you're here. When did you come?" asked Christina, while rubbing her eyes with her fingers.

Caroline looked at Christina worriedly, with her scrunched forehead, "What were you thinking? You were so lost that you didn't notice I'm coming," said Caroline. 

"It's nothing. I'm just a little exhausted after meeting with the Swift Corp," replied Christina. 

Upon hearing Christina, Caroline's eyes lit up, "So, how was your meeting with Vince?" asked Caroline interestedly. 

"The meeting was fine. Vince insisted on just going with the speed we were going. No need to rush things," Christina told Caroline, the conclusion of their meeting, "and I'll give a day off for the team members for their hard work," added Christina. 

Pursing her lips, unimpressed, "I'm not interested in the project meeting," said Caroline.
