Mama V saw the murderous glint in Felix's eyes, and she understood that there was really some sort of relationship between Felix and Jasmine. 

"About Jade… there is something between you and her, isn't it, Felix?" asked Mama V. She knew they just reunited, and maybe it was too soon for her to probe Felix's personal life, but the matter at hand needed her to know these things. 

Felix looked at Mama V with a worry, "Is it obvious? Is that why Trent was targeting Jade? To challenge and mess with me?" asked Felix. 

Shaking her head "No, Felix. Trent and Officer Kim didn't know about you and Jade. I noticed it because Jade is my cellmate and, of course, because I paid closer attention to you. I think you and Jade are safe for now, but don't ever put your guard down as the more you probe into their business, the more they will put you under their radar," said Mama V.
