Chapitre 169: Seeing Some Familiar Faces

With Lyle finished with Nicholas, he made his way over to Monas and his vamps. Monas has been doing fine so far, moving through the shadows and doing what Lyle commanded him to do. With Lyle now being a Silver Knight, he had absolutely nothing to fear from Monas who wouldn't be able to even touch him if they fought thanks to the suppression his aura brought with him.

As for Monas, the half-blood was doing whatever Lyle told him to do without questioning a thing. Vampire Lords were noble beings that held great power, and whatever Lyle was doing here was either because something important, or maybe simply because he was bored.

It wasn't unusual for powerful beings to mask their power and go around, acting as if they were weak and slowly building up an organization simply because they wanted to. The more powerful one became, the longer he could live, not to mention races like the vampires that were able to live longer than humans on average.
