Chapitre 137: Hold Me

Safira continued to call out to him. Her voice served as a beacon.

Catching on to that, Damien ran towards the sound of her voice. When his human form was not quick enough, he shifted into his wolf form and raced through the mindscape.

"Safira! Where are you!" He yelled, hoping she would be able to hear him.

Just then, a strong wave of emotion pushed him backward, causing Damien to stumble. He clutched his heart as he shifted back into his human form. His heart pounded in his ears.

It was a mix of pain and sorrow.

Damien curled his hand into a fist as he got back up on his feet. He wasn't about to give up just yet.

'She needs me,' he thought to himself.

So he pressed on, refusing to give up until he found his mate. Eventually, the landscape around him began to change. He was no longer in an abyss. He was on a hill. But with every pulse of emotion washing over him, his surroundings tinted red.
