Chapitre 106: Meeting With The Council

"Alpha, you've returned!" A council member came up to Damien with a wide smile on his face.

Damien put on a cordial smile, exchanging a few pleasantries before continuing on his way. Seth was following him closely behind. Both wolves had been knocked out by the Fire Fever.

After taking the cure, they slept for two days before waking up. Neither of them knew what happened. Damien knew Safira had come to see him but that was all he knew. He recalled the words she whispered to him, but he could barely remember her face.

They had been separated for long enough. Damien insisted on seeing where the cure was being made. Members of the council came to greet him upon hearing that he had 'returned'.

It was all part of the cover up that he had been ill and everyone else who was in on it played along.

"She's going to collapse if she keeps this up…"
