Chapitre 109: Heat (1)

Spade's breathing became hurried; just from this tone alone, he already had a guess in mind without Arren directly revealing it. He immediately stood up from his seat. All the officials that were present, as they were in the middle of the meeting, immediately looked at him and noticed something from the emperor's expression. 

He didn't mind them and responded to the phone, his nerves becoming tense as he did so. 

"Wait for me. I'll come immediately." His tone was hurried and almost stiff, as he was controlling his facial expressions in front of all his subjects. Otherwise, based on the ambiguous sounds that were coming from Arren, he had already left the conference room without looking back and would be in his room in no time. 

Fortunately, he managed his alpha instincts, and he still held on. However, his whole being had also undergone a change, and those with keener eyes could immediately discern it; no one, however, dared to point it out.
