He shook his head. "You look like an uncle. I won't go with you."

Wen Qiao burst out laughing. He pushed his father aside and smiled.

"Don't mind him," said Wen Qiao while raising his hand. "I can be you, brother. Don't I look young enough?"

Yu Weimin looked around for a moment before nodding. Then he turned toward the other man and pointed his finger.

"Will he become my daddy?"

"Sure…" Wen Qiao coughed as he tried to suppress his laughter. "We will be your family from today on, okay? You're not sad anymore, are you?"

A smile formed on the little guy's lips as he nodded. "En. Thank you, brother! Thank you, Daddy!"

Why did that sound strange? Especially the 'daddy' part?
