Chapitre 12: Are You All Right?
Arriving in front of Raymond, Keith bitchslapped Raymond which sent him flying.
"How dare you slap this young master's girlfriend?!"
Keith's outburst caused the surrounding girls to act as if they were the ones who were defended by Keith.
On the other hand, Lynn Walter for the first time felt that someone cared about her. Although, she was confused about why Keith insisted that Raymond slapped her when Raymond failed his attempt on slapping her.
But one should know that Keith was a former young master. And young masters were unreasonable existences. If a young master said that Raymond slapped his girlfriend, then Raymond must have slapped his girlfriend even if Raymond didn't do it.
Not to mention, Keith's words and expressions were genuine as if Keith truly believed that Raymond slapped Lynn. Even the surrounding girls were convinced that Raymond slapped Lynn and because of that, Keith's outburst was justified.
Young master + <Supreme Beauty> = unreasonable and terrifying existence.
Due to Keith's charisma from his <Supreme Beauty> talent, the girls couldn't feel that it was Keith's fault that Raymond's face was bruised from his slap.
At this point, the surrounding girls were fangirling for Keith as they made up excuses in their minds to justify Keith's action.
Even Raymond, who was knocked to the ground and slightly regained his vision, was baffled by his current predicament.

The three philosophical questions of life entered Raymond's mind.

Raymond was aggrieved at the thought that someone was superior to him. From kindergarten up to college, Raymond was used to being hailed as the highest in the school hierarchy.
Don't look at Raymond being a man-child who thought that the world revolved around him. The main reason why the teachers including the principal turned a blind eye to his actions as the school gang leader was that Raymond scored the highest in every exam.
Aside from personality, every aspect of Raymond was perfect. For someone like him who was used to being 'perfect', he could never accept the thought that someone was superior to him.
The teachers and the principal weren't oblivious to Raymond's offenses. But for the greater good of the college, they decided not to interfere with Raymond's affairs.
As long as Raymond didn't become a criminal that tarnished Fredrick College's reputation, they would only reprimand or put Raymond in detention for appearance's sake. But they wouldn't go as far as suspending or expelling Raymond since that would go against their interests.
It was a headache for the teachers and the principal about the unruly gangsters within the college since they had to deal with them one by one before. But now that Raymond had unified all of them under him, the teachers only needed to talk to Raymond and didn't have to bother with dealing with the other gangsters.
To them, Raymond's existence was needed in the college to maintain the school hierarchy. If the student council president was the one who dealt with the students in the college, then Raymond was an existence who dealt with the gangsters within the college as well as a force used to deter the gangsters from the surrounding schools.
As for the accidents caused by Raymond such as a student committing suicide, what accident? As long as they could cover it up, then it shouldn't be a problem.
Even a hospital's medical malpractices that led to the death of several patients were eventually covered up as long as they offered remuneration for the family of the deceased.
What prevented the school from doing the same? Accidents also happened in society so, from another perspective, Fredrick College was quite excellent in simulating an environment for the students that was no less than the adult world.
Keith, who was a freshman at Fredrick College, was oblivious to the dark side of the college but not Raymond. Raymond knew that even if Keith was superior to him, the teachers and the principal wouldn't necessarily show support to Keith who had yet to build up his prestige.
Because of that, even if Raymond was defeated by Keith, Raymond didn't do anything and just pretended that he couldn't fight anymore. Anyway, he had already sworn in his heart that he would take his revenge against Keith and Lynn.
As for Keith, seeing that Raymond didn't want to fight him, he no longer cared about Raymond. Even if Keith wanted to, he couldn't.

Extending his hand to her, Keith softly spoke, "Are you all right?"
