Ethan held Hazel by her arm. "You shall not, Hazel!" Ethan's hoarse voice rang into Hazel's head. In response, Hazel shook her head a little as the voice continuously rang in her head, as if the voice had been hiding deep in her brain until now that he had used it. "Hazel you have to understand me, this is important. Your life is important but unfortunately, not important to anyone here in Greensville. Please, you...you just have to be safe. I can't afford to lose you anymore." Ethan continued to talk, his voice laced with worries which brought confusion on Hazel's face.
"What did you just say now?" Hazel questioned, she glanced at his hand on her arm and he released it all of a sudden, knowing that according to her he was already trespassing.
