Chapitre 289: Celebrations

It had been a few hours since Rosalind talked to Magda, yet her mind could not stop thinking about what she told her about the ruins. She no longer believed in coincidences but she also knew that not everything about this world revolved around her.

To be honest, the fact that the ruins had been enveloped by dark mists frightened her. The unknown was scary. That she could no longer predict the future because of the changes that were brought upon by her reincarnation was also another thing that terrified her.

The soft knock on the door woke her from her stupor. She looked at Milith who walked inside her study with a tray full of refreshments.

"Young Madam, there is another bunch of letters from various noble families." Milith placed the letters next to Rosalind as she set up the refreshments in the room.

"This time, there are some invitations from the royal family of Cirid who came here to seek protection from the King," Milith added. "Should we at least respond to one of them?"
