Chapitre 148: After The Doom

In the dark room, Evelyn sat in the corner. This was a very small room in the back of the house where they first used to keep two cows before. However, not long ago they sold them and hence this room was now empty.

Evelyn's eyes were red and swollen. The most visible thing was their blankness.

Now there was no brightness and liveliness in them that she had carried when she had entered this same house three years ago.

Her dress was covered with blood imprints and her shoes were still red because of the blood. There were some imprints of fingers on her cheek as if she had been beaten.

"Evelyn…"

Her body started to tremble fiercely when she heard the whisper of her name. She didn't even dare to look towards the figure in another corner. Her eyes stayed blank as she stared at her knees and her hands clutched her dress tightly.

Oliver's body which was covered with blood and stabbed wounds continued to flash in front of her eyes.
