While Gold was busy looking at his phone probably work related stuff, Lai was quietly looking outside.

It was dark yet he didn't seem to care enough to drag her along.

" I didn't even bid goodbye Emily and uncle Alex" Lai thought inwardly but didn't bother to voice out her thoughts not to the cold annoying man like him, just he wait!.

She was tired and sleepy but stubbornly remain still.

On the other side his fingers were making counting signs as if a tiktok clock sound.

And she dozed!

Ten minutes later her head was hanging almost banging on the car but instead land on his shoulder.

" Stubborn woman..." Gold whispered with a small chuckle as he gently made her lie on his shoulder.

" No.." Her soft voice was heard as she protest his hands that was helping to cover her.

" Very stubborn!" he said and stopped touching to let her sleep.
