The mages of Nickron were more conniving than Henry could have ever imagined.

When Siverly was tasked with visiting Nickron to seek one of the elder mages for their situation, he wasn't able to see the one he was seeking. The best he got was a letter. Right away, the mage felt that there was something brewing underneath the surface.

Aurium was the oldest of the mages and certainly the most powerful. He had dedicated his entire life to the pursuit of education and honing his magical abilities. Many considered him to have the purest form of mana as well as the largest amount of mana despite his frail, aged body.

Not only would his opinion be valuable considering he was powerful even when dragons roamed the world last, but Siverly was his grandson. He hated to admit that he could write in these types of favors from the most powerful mage in the world.
