Chapitre 175: The Heroes

"Marx!"  Amaya screamed.  She looked down and he saw Marx holding onto  the spoke of the fourth gondola from theirs with one hand while he was grasping the man's hand with his left.

Amaya could see that he would not be able to hang on for long.  Amaya looked below the seat for something she can use.  Fortunately she found a coil of nylon rope.  It was intentionally placed there for emergency purposes.

Amaya grabbed the rope and pulled opened the gondola's door and stepped out of it.  She made mental calculations and used the rope as leverage when she jumped.  She landed on the spoke where Marx and the man was hanging. She almost slipped but because she was holding to both ends of the rope with both of her hands, she quickly recovered and regained her footing.
