Vasari rolled through the rankings with ease. However, due to a new rule introduced by the Sect, those in the top 300 are only allowed to challenge someone ten ranks above them, and only one challenge per disciple is allowed a day. If this rule was not in place, Vasari would have already made it to the top 100.

This rule was to stop the constant changes occurring in and around the top 100 and regain some sense of normality to the rankings.

It was frustrating, but Vasari used this to improve his techniques in actual combat, especially techniques he doesn't always use, like the Dragon Elephant Pragna Body Art and Five Elements Palm.
