The sun was about to set, majority of the various Soldiers, knights and personnel that came from the Royal Capital were exhausted and wounded, the Antlion larva was more active at night so this prompted the lesser remaining officers including Elanil Talaedra to gather their thoughts on what to do next, the last Antlion that came out of the ground was dealt with and the soldiers that were part of the Five Battalion were trembling,
as fatigue has already consumed their body and mind, as multitudes of the just sat down at a safe distance as the Demon Arachne spiders drag the dead antlion corpse to a safe location away from the remaining military force that came from the capital,
it was evident that the survivors of this attack were tired, wounded and some sadly lost a body part, they just could not even stand up anymore, many of the mages and healers on their side that were still mentally able were now busy healing and providing medical and phycological assistance to their respective unit,
, while the warriors from the now-confirmed kingdom of Arcane, were unaffected by the long hours of battle, the very group they were commanded to seek out and eliminate, were the ones who came to help them,
Hellknight commander Sigma stood six feet tall and was wearing his usual black armor surveyed the area and ordered his men to provide assistance toward the wounded and fulfil their Kings command to save as much as they can and do not hesitate to do whatever it takes to make their master happy,
the Gahanna wolf stood around the hole and guarded the area while a legion of Demon spiders that were 1 meter tall were scouring the terrain looking for any remnants of their fallen comrades whether dead or alive, a small transfer gate portal opened and dozens of medical staff from Arcane walked in and they were carrying supplies to assist the remaining military personnel from the the feared battalion unit under the command of their dead lesser demon head commander,
these soldiers were considered the elite, with many victorious missions under their name were now sitting on the ground covered with blood, sweat, dirt, and some flesh remnants of their dead comrade in arms, emotions were low as they felt abandoned by their superiors. The once unbreakable bond between them seemed to be crumbling under the weight of despair. The deafening silence was only interrupted by the distant sounds of pain and suffering, as most them now saw what they just lost,
a constant reminder of the chaos that surrounded them. Each soldier's face bore the marks of exhaustion and sorrow, their eyes reflecting a mix of anger and resignation. As they sat there, they couldn't help but question their purpose and the sacrifices they had made. Doubts crept into their minds, overshadowing the pride they once felt for serving their country.
Arcanian staff gave out all the necessary help they could offer, from food, water, and medical supplies, to emotional support. They understood the toll that war had taken on these brave men and women, and they were determined to provide whatever assistance they could. The soldiers gratefully accepted the aid, but deep down, they knew that no amount of material comfort could erase the pain they carried within them. Despite their weariness, a flicker of hope remained in their hearts. They had witnessed acts of courage and compassion amidst the chaos, reminding them of the goodness that still existed in this world. They clung to these moments, drawing strength from those they heard were manipulative and evil from the noble reports they were given before embarking on their quest to purge this so-called enemy of the Empire.
a group known as the Arcane Rogue Rebels. The Empire had painted them as villains, but now they knew better. They had seen these so-called Arcanian Rebel fighters risking their lives to protect them, fighting for justice and honor, and helping those who required help It was a cause worth fighting for,
a cause that resonated now deep within their souls. As the Arcane warriors set out on their quest, they carried with them not only weapons and armor but also a determination to bring about change. They knew it would be a treacherous journey, filled with danger and uncertainty, but they were prepared to face it head-on. With each step they took, their resolve grew stronger, fueled by the stories of those who had come before them. They were not alone in this fight; they were part of something much bigger than themselves. And so, with hope in their hearts and a fire in their eyes, they marched forward, ready to confront the darkness and restore balance to the world they call home.
Sigma was communicating with the rest of the Hellkinght commanders about their situation, all of them shared similar reports of mass destruction, but with their king's decisive strategic plan, the death toll was substantially low from their point of view.
As they surveyed the aftermath of the battle, Sigma couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in their accomplishments. The Hellknight commanders had executed their strategies flawlessly, minimizing casualties and maximizing their impact on the enemy forces.
The destruction they had witnessed was a testament to the power and ferocity of their combined might. But Sigma knew that this was just the beginning. The fight against the remnants of the Nexus Dragon was far from over, and there were still countless battles to be fought.
The world they called home was still in desperate need of healing and restoration. Sigma knew that they couldn't afford to rest on their laurels or become complacent. They had to remain vigilant, always ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As they regrouped and decided to gather at the place that was the main goal considering the vast number they had to protect, Sigma gladly accepted the other commander's suggestion because they all offered their expertise and helped to recover the loss on the Sheol military forces and to compile their report and files to be submitted to their King.
One by one they came by the transfer gate, Sigma could see the determination in their eyes. They were united in their purpose, bound together by a common goal: to protect and preserve the world they loved. Each commander brought unique skills and perspectives to the table, making them unstoppable as they awaited the king's arrival.
Imperial Physician Omicron took this time to account for all of the survivors and oversee the medical treatment because of the vast number of different species and races of the wounded it was rather hard to accommodate them all, as their military healers and maes were running low on mana, and the continuous consumption of mana potion can take its toll on the user's body,
Lady Laerdya Galadhiel demon Arachne spider was able to locate and even medically reattach severed arms and limbs by sawing it using their tread but many refused to get proper medication because fear was still lingering in their hearts and mind, seeing a similar creature near them now was overwhelming their mental psyche, most of the military force that took part in this tragic march toward certain doom, were most of them were halflings and descended from various races from a Demon, Elves, Dryads, Treants, Centaur, Dwarf, Fairy, Oger, Orc, Lizardkin, Beastfolk, Drow, a few Aasimar and Tieflings,
Imperial Physician Omicron trained the Demon Spider to be their main medical and retrieval unit. A couple of them evolved and were able to take their humanoid form and became spider folk, but there are still so many who are still in their spider form that sadly still inflict a certain amount of hesitation considering this particular type of spider was the most notorious in a large number of deaths in many parts of the land.
making it difficult for the wounded to trust them fully. However, the Imperial Physician saw potential in these spider folk and believed that their unique abilities could greatly benefit society if properly harnessed. With extensive training and guidance, the Demon Spider units were taught to use their venomous bites for healing purposes, extracting toxins from patients with remarkable precision. Additionally, their exceptional agility and web-spinning skills proved invaluable in retrieving valuable items from treacherous locations.
Despite their transformation into spider folk, the Imperial Physician ensured that they retained their human-like intelligence and empathy, enabling them to interact with patients and understand their needs on a deeper level. This integration of medical expertise and arachnid capabilities opened up new possibilities in healthcare, especially in remote areas where access to conventional medical facilities was limited.
so with this Omicron addressed the Arcanian medical staff to explain that the demon spider that is part of their team was created and trained to help those who were poisoned by the Antlion's toxins, and further add that they are intelligent beyond what they could expect and loyal to their master command to the death, ensuring utmost efficiency in treating the victims. Omicron emphasized that the demon spide's unique abilities allowed it to swiftly neutralize the toxins, providing immediate relief to the affected individuals.
The wounded military personnel and their medical staff listened intently; some still hesitated, but others just wanted to live and openly accepted the creature's help. After seeing what these creatures could actually do, they were all captivated by the remarkable capabilities of this extraordinary creature.
Omicron assured them that their partnership with the demon spider would revolutionize their approach to combating the Antlions' venomous attacks. The staff marvelled at its intelligence, recognizing that it's loyalty and unwavering dedication were unparalleled. They understood that with this formidable ally by their side, they would be able to save countless lives and restore hope to those suffering from the Antlions' deadly poisons. Grateful for Omicron's revelation, they now all eagerly accepted the demon spider's help in providing them with medical assistance.
Ramiel appeared out of nowhere and walked toward one of the dozens of interconnected large temporary 30ft wide by 10 feet tall and 80ft long Marquees tent that has a capacity of 250 people, that his personnel had placed in strategic positions,
Ramiel came secretly to personally observe the current status and situation of the wounded soldiers. Omicron and all of the Symbiote Homunculus already knew their kings were with them but with a simple mental request to hide his presence for the time being,
His aim was to meticulously scrutinize and evaluate their capabilities and determine if they meet his standard. Ramiel moved stealthily through the medical tents, his keen eyes absorbing every detail. He watched as the healers worked tirelessly, their hands moving with precision and expertise. The wounded soldiers, though in pain, displayed unwavering resilience and determination. Ramiel noted their grit and bravery, silently acknowledging their sacrifice for the kingdom. He made mental notes of each soldier's strengths, weaknesses, attitudes, and characteristics, knowing that this information would be invaluable in shaping future strategies.
As he approached the marquee, Ramiel couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness seeing the wounded soldiers and dead bodies, neatly wrapped in white cloth arranged on the ground in rows. The stench of blood and death hung heavy in the air, a grim reminder of the brutal reality of war. Ramiel's heart ached for those who had lost their lives and for the pain endured by those who still clung to them. He couldn't help but wonder how much longer this senseless death would continue, and how many more lives would be sacrificed for power and control.
Were they still capable of fulfilling their duty? Were they prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead? It was a question that weighed heavily on his mind as some with visible injuries, others with haunted expressions, and others still with a determined resolve passed by him.
The casualties of war were not just physical; they ran deep within the souls of those left standing. Ramiel knew that rebuilding their shattered lives and broken bodies would require more than just time; It would demand a collective effort of resilience, support, and compassion. As they needed to navigate through what remained of their wrecked lives, With a heavy heart, Ramiel acknowledged that they needed to be healed beyond what they were receiving now. A demon spider was helping a severely wounded knight that was losing a lot of blood.
and the knight's men were irritated because the spider was forcefully trying its best to help but the wounded knight and his men were not letting this monster tend to their wounds and demanded that human-looking personnel come to their aid, the spider made a sound signalling them that it meant no harm but the soldier didn't trust the creature and attack it with its dagger as the spider lost its two appendages in front as it collapses on the ground in pain but still wanted to help, the soldier was about to stab the spider in the head when Ramiel disarmed him and in an instant analyze his personality and saw that this soldier was cruel to all types of animals even since he was small,
as the cruel soldier became paralysed some soldiers so and thought it was a malicious attack from an unknown person, they were planning to react, but Ramiels massive killing intent made them all think twice the wounded spider understood who he was and responded like a truly loyal familiar it tried to bow its head but the pain in loosing two of its appendages was hurting it, a few of its kind came to its aid this touch Ramiels heart seeing that no matter the being look like weather in animal form or humanoid shape if they good intention they will still act according to what their master instructed them to do
Ramiel scan the entire tent and saw that most of the demon spiders are nearing their evolution but they lack sufficient energy to do so, he ask Omicron if it is wise to have more Spiderfolks serving the medical team,
his Chief Imperial Physician mention having a hundred with be enough to handle the task at this location, Ramiel ask the rest of the commanders if they encountered the same issue on their mission, and they regretfully said yes,
"How many Demon Arachne do have here now?"
" Lady Laerdya Galadhiel gave us 500 of her familiar, and with the Imperial Physician Omicrons medical training they are all highly proficient t in their task,"
"thought transference"
"Exploitation of Knowledge,"
"Assimilation of Energy,"
"Force Essence Evolution."
with that four enchantment spells all 500 Demon Medical Arachne shredded their skin and stood upright in their humanoid form, the female spider that lost its arm was happy seeing she was in humanoid form, Ramiel walked toward the disabled spider-folk and cast
"Arcane Full Divine Healing."
a hand grew out from the female spider folk's severed arm, everybody saw this and witness a power nearing a god, Ramiel spoke
" so with this form are you all now going to accept my people's help?"
"or are you all still blinded with fear, that you can even distinguish kindness from vile acts?"
Lieutenant commander Elanil Talaedra came to Ramiel's side and kneeled and greeted the king of Arcane, when they heard this they all move even the wounded soldiers and their staff personnel and kneeled before him, the female spider-folk introduce their master's name
" Hail the Supreme Warmage King, the King of Arcane, the Royal Heir of Queen Allatou Estrith Demiurgos the True Scion,"
"King Ramiel Sinclair Demiurgos !"
