Lorenzo was sitting on her sofa, his ankle crossed over the opposite knee. He leaned back against the seat with ease, looking like he belonged there.

"You were gone by the time I woke up," Natasha mumbled.

"Yes, I had work to do. I came back to check on you, but you have already left," he drawled lazily. "How are you feeling?" When he asked that, her heart squeezed.

"Better. I did feel a bit of heartache, but that was it."

"Gustav is on his way here to have a brief look and also change the bandage. I will stay while he does that."

"Okay."

In less than five minutes, there was a banging knock on the door. "Come in," Lorenzo answered.

Gustav towered into the room with a smile across his face. "Natasha dear. Sit."

She did. He took out his cleaning supplies, pushing down the t-shirt she had on. "You are rapidly healing."
