Marcus merely smiled, pouring himself a glass of red wine. "I don't want anything from you, Shiloh. I just wanted to catch up with an old friend."

Shiloh scoffed, his eyes flashing. "Old friend? You kidnapped me!"

Marcus shrugged, taking a sip of his wine. "You don't know anything about Lucian, Shiloh. He's a liar and a con artist. And I have no interest in your Botticelli mafia."

Shiloh's jaw dropped in shock. "What are you talking about? Lucian is my fiancé. He would never hurt anyone!"

Marcus leaned forward, his eyes darkening. "You don't understand, Shiloh. Lucian killed Thomas. My first and only love. And I will never forgive him for that."

Shiloh felt a chill run down his spine as he realized the depth of Marcus' hatred. He had never seen this side of his old friend before.

"But that's not my problem, Marcus," Shiloh said firmly. "I don't know anything about your history with Lucian. I just want to go home."
