Chapitre 10: Origin of Chaos

His gaze returned to the book. He might as well read this shit first, and he made a reminder again to only summon the system if left with no choice. The most unreliable system ever.

The design of the book cover was simply a collection of strange characters that Davy recognized despite seeing it for the first time. His eyes narrowed and focused on the book's title, which he could read and comprehend.

His black-golden eyes glinted as he blinked, and his lips pressed together. Was this game that insane? Was the company's neural network research already that advanced? Davy clicked his tongue and grumbled again about how advanced their technology was and yet a player was trapped in the virtual world.

He shook his head and refused to go back to square one. His attention was drawn back to what was in front of him.

"Origin of Chaos," Davy read aloud the strange characters he could read with ease. His brow furrowed and even whistled. Damn, what a domineering title for a book! He could finally get some information.

His fingers traced the book, which appeared thick at first glance, but when he opened it, he realized that the page was not made of paper at all, but of some unknown material. Each page appeared to be thicker than the book cover. Such a strange book. Actually, Davy hadn't touched a book in a long time. Since the rise of the digital era and virtual technology, books could only be seen in a few government-approved libraries. Furthermore, the era of today was Virtual Technology, and as a result, only a small group of people still held on to traditionally published books.

The inside of the book was not what he had expected. At the very least, the paper looked good; the writing was large enough that only a paragraph was written on each page. The pages were plain, with no background or blemishes, but Davy could sense a different kind of impression on those characters as if they glinted deep within one's subconscious.

His expression became solemn as he began to read the obscure characters, "The beginning of everything... the chaos energy source gathered and birthed to the earliest Universe in existence-- The Chaos Universe. Considered the primordial and uppermost Universe of the countless universes. As its instinct to create, the Chaos Universe created the Five Realms, which serve as its foundation. It then poured a large portion of its original chaos energy into creation, giving birth to the first race it ever created."

Davy paused after the paragraph ended and then blinked. What a game background that was. It was so fantastic. His hand flipped the page and continued, "The Three Supremes of Chaos were born from the Chaos Universe's origin chaos energy, its closest individuals, the Supreme Rulers of the Chaos Realm, the Three Supremes of Chaos, which were the natural overlords overlooking from above."

Davy gaped and came to a halt. So they were so powerful then? It must be incredible to be able to be born from chaos energy. He read more about the Chaos Universe's origins and how it created the various races that would populate the other four realms. Unlike the three Supremes, it only used a small portion of its chaos energy to create a wide range of races with varying abilities and attributes. These beings only have a trace of chaos energy in their bodies, which would fade as generations passed, but the mark of the Chaos Universe in their blood would be forever etched in their soul.

He went on, and Davy became engrossed in his reading. As civilization progressed, so did the emergence of war. It was especially so after the Three Supremes of Chaos waged war against each other to determine who would rule the Chaos Universe as the sole ruler. The disparities between the three grew, and the chaotic epoch began.

Countless deaths piled up as the realms fought their way to each other. The battle between the Three Supremes nearly destroyed a large portion of the five realms.

This continued until it--Chaos Universe--intervened. The Chaos Universe had no true emotions and only had the instinct to create and devour, but The Three Supremes of Chaos were its first creation and the closest existence to it. It needed to step in.

"Despite exhaustion, the Chaos Universe drew a large portion of chaos energy from its source, as well as a piece of its essence, and combined the two elements of the Chaos Universe surge. The Supremes and all the living beings in it felt the sudden change, but only the Supremes were aware that the Chaos Universe was creating an existence again." He continued as a page flip.

"The Chaos Universe was not satisfied. It took a small portion of the Supremes' souls and combined them all together. The Five Realms feel the terrifying breath waking up. The Supremes feel it in their deepest core even more. The most precious existence in the Chaos Universe... The Most Precious One was born."

Davy couldn't say anything for a long time, so he sighed deeply and leaned back in his seat. Fuck! That was a really interesting backstory. To think the background of this game world was amazing? And to think it was in an adult game?

He shook his head and closed the book. He looked around at the books, intending to read them, but this book satisfied his curiosity. He also had an idea of what his character was like. This backstory was too dramatic! Davy would love to meet the creator and ask him about his problems with the world. Why was his game content of the highest quality but he was fucked over? This was not at all realistic.

Still, Fallan hadn't returned. Davy decided to read anything. He grabbed some books in his vicinity and began reading them. The book he became interested in was an encyclopedia with a large number of animals recorded in it. His eyes sparkle as he reads that book.

Fallan appeared in the middle of his reading.

"You're back?" Davy asked first, and for some reason, his heart didn't have much unwillingness anymore, and he tried to fill in for his role. Furthermore, Fallan was not a bad person to be around, as complaining would lead nowhere.

Fallan's gaze was drawn to him as his calm eyes swept over him and then the book he was reading. "Do you want to stay or go back to your room now?" he asked as he approached.

He shook his head, closing the book with his hand. "I want to go back to my room right now," he said, having already found what he was looking for. Fallan nodded, his hand reaching out to Davy's, who accepted without hesitation. He was getting used to it now.

Davy stood up and moved closer to Fallan. With another wave of Fallan's hand. They had returned to his room. He was still amazed, but much less so now.

Davy's mind relaxed for some reason as he looked around the familiar room. He dashed towards the bed, completely forgetting that Fallan was still holding his hand as he dragged him along.

Davy paused and looked back at his side, then at Fallan's face. What was he doing dragging Fallan along? He yanked his hand away and ran to the bed by himself. He didn't want to see his face, his crystal-like skin stained with crimson, again.

Davy could tell Fallan was following him as he sat on the bed. He didn't turn around to face Fallan. "Why... I'm called the most precious existence?" he managed to utter, not knowing why but just saying it as the opener.

Then there was silence. Until some footsteps were heard and the bed bounced back, indicating that someone sat on it. He quickly turned around... He nearly yelped when he was met by Fallan's gaze, which was sitting close to him at arm's length.

His gaze was to the side, but he forced himself to meet Fallan's gaze with a few deep breaths. Fallan's stable and calm expression was like a deceptive mask he wore on his face, as he stared at him intently.

"You are the most precious existence in the universe... because you are. There is no need for reason," Fallan replied, his blue eyes as sincere as a kind of unknown emotion appeared in them. Fallan reached out and gently caressed Davy's hand as he looked at him with a scorching gaze that stirred something else inside of him. "You are our... Dheivamani," the baritone voice said, becoming somewhat hoarse as it evoked Davy's inner desire.

Davy subconsciously leaned into his touch as his hand softly traced from his hand through his arms until it reached his left cheek and gently caressed it. Every time, his mind raced and his breath became shorter.

The next thing he knew, Fallan was so close to him that he could feel the warmth of his breath tingling his ear and making him hotter. Davy still had that rational reason telling him that none of this was real and that everything Fallan said was just a program.

While his reasoning was correct, his mind and body fully accepted the suppressed desire and allowed it to take over. He reasoned that he was trapped in this virtual world anyway. He might as well enjoy it to the fullest. Wasn't this why he wanted to try out an adult VR game in the first place?

Davy's body readily accepted Fallan's advances, and his heart and mind finally reconciled. His eyes opened only to meet a gaze full of burning desire, as this intense expression had an inexplicable effect on his entire being.

The touches soothed him, sent an encouraging message to him, and assured him. Fallan then encircled him with his strong arms, leaving Davy gaping and allowing the man to wander and explore his hot body as if offering himself and giving his permission.

Fallan seemed to realize this as his actions became more aggressive, and the soft touches became more invading. Davy's misty eyes widened as his luscious lips parted, and a hand sneaked inside his dress, gently massaging his back, filling him with an uncontrollable thirst he'd never felt before. His mind throbbed, yes... He wanted this man.
