Chapitre 130: Lying Alice and Carol

"No, there you did nothing wrong Aunt Mio, I'm just not in a good mood today because there are a lot of things that I need to complete today." When the word Aunt leaves Alice's mouth, everyone is stunned because no one would expect Alice to call Mio in such a way. But everyone could still feel the coldness in her voice as if she was really angry about something, though, by this point, her mother and cousin had already guessed why she was so angry. But the same thing couldn't be said about Mio who just remained clueless.

"Too much paperwork, huh… That is understandable. I remember the days when I was stuck inside my office because of work as well, but you don't need to stress yourself with your work so much. Just lay back and relax, you will see how much faster you will be." Mio chuckled as she patted Alice's head as if she was treating a little sister.

When the other two saw it, they couldn't help but facepalm due to how stupid Mio was, but thinking how Alice was acting, it was also her fault for not being honest with herself. Just as Alice was to get even more mad, Mio suddenly opened her mouth, and when she heard what Mio just said to her, her face became bright red.

"You can come to my house if you want, the atmosphere there is better since I have set up a lot of Magic Circles there. I did all of that so that I can also have better focus when I'm doing work or just generally watching something, also I still have your coat with me so I need to wash it before returning it." Mio offered her.

Alice's ears felt like it was ringing and she was stunned because she would have never expected to get such an amazing offer like that, going inside Mio's house only meant one thing, and that she could have a chance to get to know her better. Just thinking about it makes her blush, she even begins to think about what kind of clothes she wears when she is at home. But before her wild imagination got even worse, she was brought back to reality when her Mother spoke.

"House? You still live in that same old apartment, right? Even if it is big, I won't really call it a house. Plus don't you think my daughter deserves something more? Invite her to your Villa, you haven't been there for a few years already, I'm sure your servants would be happy to see you." Solar said and her words actually made Mio think, but her words were also a shock because Alice and Carol originally thought that Mio was already living in something grand, but it seems that they were wrong.

"Well… maybe. But you already know the reason why I might not do that, that decision is not up to me, but to little Somi. You know how she is." Mio said as she looked at Somi who was just quiet the entire time and when she heard her name getting called she looked over curiously.

Though she had already heard everything and when she heard that she might get moved to a bigger house, she was nervous. But moving into a bigger house doesn't necessarily make her uncomfortable, but the fact that it has a lot of people, especially servants. Ever since that incident, she has avoided all servants in her mother's place because of her guilt. Even just thinking about it makes her nervous and uneasy.

"Don't worry little Somi, I won't go there unless you want to. We can just stay at my little apartment." Mio said as she approached Somi before crouching over and hugging her gently.

"Oh, yes. I'm sorry that I forgot about that. Please forgive me, lady- I mean little Somi, I didn't think what you would feel." Solar apologized and she almost had a slip of the tongue by addressing Somi as a lady because she thought that it was just right since her Mother was their Goddess. The creator of this world.

"Anyway, that offer is still up. You can come to my apartment any time you like. Just don't expect that there will be always food because I'm quite lazy to cook, as normally I would just order food" Mio said as she then picked up the frightened Somi and walked away as she sensed that she hit a hard spot on her.

Alice just nodded her head and was worried about Somi's well-being, but that doesn't mean that she wasn't curious as to why she acted like that. It was as if she was almost afraid of being around servants which just made her even more curious as to why it was like that. If she was the little sister of the Grand Saintess, she was basically a Noble among Noble so being around servants would be completely normal for her.

"Mom, is something the matter with her little sister? Her reaction was weird, the moment she heard that there would be servants living with her, she got nervous, no maybe the right word was terrified. Or you can't tell me because it's confidential?" Alice asked her Mother seriously because she couldn't bear to see such a cute child being terrified like that.

"I… let me ask her this once to see if I can explain it to you. I'm sorry my dear daughter and niece, but she's really a special existence, and me explaining it to you without her consent would be like a betrayal to her. But since you asked, I'll try, but don't get your hopes up." Solar apologized as she then went to a quiet place before activating a barrier so that no one could hear her before calling Mio's number and it didn't even take a second for the other person to pick up.

"They're asking why Somi is acting like that, right, and you called me to get permission to ask if you can tell them?" Mio asked her before Solar could even say something and she felt horrible and just said yes.

"Huff… Alright, I'm going to ask you this. How well do you think your daughter and niece would be able to take if they knew this secret? I'm not worried that they are going to leak something about this, but what I'm worried about is how well they accept the fact that little Somi is the daughter who made our world like this, you think they can accept it?" Instead of giving Solar a clear answer, she just asked Solar questions.

As a Mother, she knows her daughter best but right now she doesn't know, her daughter wasn't like her who would be able to accept such information quickly. Alice is different because she hates how the world is and that they are not free, from what she heard from her Mother, this world wasn't like this before and that there were no monsters, but just one day everything changed.

After thinking about it for a few minutes, Solar finally made up her mind, and she then finally decided to answer Mio's question.

"My daughter is a kind person and the same thing can be said of Carol. But I don't think it is the time yet for all of them to know such vital information, but I don't want to leave them hanging because I know their capabilities, so what if I just lie for now, and make up a story?" Solar suggested and when Mio heard it she couldn't help but chuckle due to her honesty and stupidity at the same time.

"Lie, HAHAHAHA! Do you want to do that? You can't even lie to your husband or basically anyone. So how do you expect for your daughter and niece to believe you when they are much sharper than you?" Mio laughed which made Solar embarrassed but before she could say anything to defend herself, Mio continued.

"But your idea is not bad, so let me help you. Just relay every word that I will say~" Mio smiled as she began explaining.

When Alice and Carol were speaking to each other, they then heard Solar approaching them with a serious look on her face, and they began to wonder if it was really fine for them to know such information.

"She agreed, but don't let anyone know what will happen, and most importantly, if you see her act normally, even if you get to know her secret. That is what Mio wanted, do you think you can do it, both of you?" Solar asked both of them and the two just looked at each other before nodding their heads.

"She is cursed, she's not blind. She's just using her blindfold to hide her eyes because they are different from ours and really different. You already saw that she has no powers, right? That is because all of her powers went to her eyes, and because of that she was deemed useless by everyone as she couldn't use Magic. She was bullied and berated by everyone, they called her useless." Solar said with a little difficulty even though she was just supposed to act, this was a real event that had happened, so it wasn't acting anymore.

"That is why she hides her eyes because she also sees herself as useless, she begins to have a complex about them, I mean at that point, who wouldn't? Now she is afraid of people and the only one she can truly trust is her big sister, as for her parents, they are out of the picture since that is a different story. But the main reason for her being terrified of servants is because they are the ones who dealt the most damage to her, you can say that she is mentally not prepared to just even hear the word servant because of how terrified she is." Solar is finally finished relying on Mio's exact words.
