“Wow, this place is cool,” Hannah says, rocking up to Lycantina dressed in a sunflower yellow halter top and black shorts, showing off her red pedicure in her open-toed gold heels.
She lit up the place as soon as she walked in.
In contrast, I’m still in my work clothes – jeans that thankfully don’t look as old as they are, and a gray v-neck t-shirt.
Hannah gets on me from time to time about only wearing colors found in hardware stores, but I’m still not convinced I look great in colors. Whenever I put on bright jewel tones like crimson, emerald, or cerulean, Hannah gushes, but I just feel exposed like too many people are looking at me.
Lycantina is already popping with a bunch of people crowded around the pool table and the bar. I can tell by the jeans and hairstyles, and who is clumped up with who, that this is going to be a bangin’ gay bar when they have their official opening this weekend.
