"Lev, I saw you together with Major Amamiya yesterday. Is everything all right?" Sakuya suddenly asked as she was curious about what they did yesterday or maybe talked as this matter didn't let her sleep properly last night.

Upon hearing this, Sakuya immediately moved her head back and looked at Lev with surprise and a frown on her face as she clearly understood what Lev was talking about. She then just looked at him seriously wanting to know if he was just messing with her but seeing him smiling made her think that she couldn't really see through him.
Seeing such a reaction, Lev then just smiled and continued eating. Sakuya, on the other hand, just shook her head, set aside her curiosity, and talked about something different to change the topic.
"Lindow said that we're doing a mission later. How about coming with us again? " Sakuya asked as she wanted Lev to join them again as she knew that even though he was temporarily assigned to their unit, Major Amamiya had also told them that they could not force him to join them for a mission if he was not willing to.
"Well. I don't have something to do anyway. I might as well tag along." Lev replied casually but something occupied his mind as he knew something might happen later if nothing changed in the story.
Hearing Lev's reply, Sakuya put up a faint smile before the five of them then finished up their meal. Lev and Sakuya then head for their mission while Sia, Shio, and Iroha decide to stay behind.

In a conference room,
At this time, Johannes could be seen looking at the four people on the monitor while they were talking to each other. The discussion seems to be serious seeing everyone strongly express their suggestions.
"Surrender his God Arc?" Johannes suddenly asked while at the people on the screen.
"He disregarded orders and rushed to the battlefield. Is it wise to put a valuable God Arc in his position?" One of the people on the screen replied being displeased by how the God Arc was wasted on such a person.
"It can't be help as only a few are able to control a New-Type God Arc." Johannes replied and tried to reason but the person rebuttal again which he could not answer and could only apologize.
"What about the other New-Type?" Another person asked while.
"Well, that New-Type departed the Russia Branch and was now in transit." The one that talks to Johannes answered.
"Is there even a need for two?" Another person asked and this time it was a woman who talked as the reason why they sent the other new type was to help the Far East Branch to fasten the gathering of the cores that they needed.
Following that, they then talked for a while before Johannes gave his thanks to the Russian Branch Director and finally concluded the meeting.
Throughout the meeting, Johannes did not even introduce Lev to every people on the monitor as if he wanted to hide Lev's existence from them for a reason. He then just left the office and headed somewhere quietly.

Upon driving for quite a while, Lev, Sia, and the others have already arrived at their destination which Lev and Sakuya grouped once again together to hunt some Aragamis, however, they did not take long as they already finished their quota seeing the two were now sitting at the top of an abandoned building while looking toward something like an island from the distance.

"No. What is that?" Lev answered while fully knowing what she was referring to.
"That Aegis Project. That's the reason why we hunt Aragamis. We were doing our best to collect their cores to build that thing." Sakuya answered and was hoping that it would be built soon since another person had joined them and a powerful one at that. She looked at Lev with a serious face and was glad that he joined them.
"Aegis Project?" Lev asked again once more. He was hesitating whether to tell her the truth but pondering about the consequences and how she would react, he then decided to stay quiet as he didn't even know if she would buy his words on that matter.
"It's a project whose ultimate purpose was to create an Aragami-impervious utopia for mankind to live in." Sakuya then started explaining the reason why they were building it with smiles all over her face while talking to him.
Following that, Lev listened to her while thinking about Sia and Shio before they regrouped again with Lindow and the rest of Unit 1. Settling everything in place, they then headed back to the headquarters.

Hearing the mission, Lindow didn't have any complaints but he seriously talked to her and asked her some questions regarding their unit as they were not complete as the others were out on a separate mission.
"No need to think about that. Lev would go with you this time." Tsubaki answered before the door of the monitoring hall opened which Lev entered with complete preparation.
"Yo!" Lev greeted while smiling after entering the room, however, he was quite excited today since it was now time for the main heroine to appear.
"Hmm, if it's him then it's okay." Lindow said as he knew the capabilities of Lev after being with him for a few days. Sakuya, on the other hand, also smiled after seeing Lev as she was a little angry earlier after being called out for a mission this late at night.
Following that, Lev and the others then just talked about the mission before Lindow and Sakuya left as they still wanted to prepare especially their God Arcs leaving Lev behind in the hall.

With that, Lev, Lindow, and Sakuya then just rested in the helicopter and waited for their arrival as they needed to be in their peak condition when the time came.

After a couple of hours, Lev and the others could now finally view the situation of the plane that the New-Type was in. They were looking at it with a different expression on their faces especially Sakuya upon seeing several flying Aragamis with an appearance like a moth following the plane while some of them attacked and sunk their teeth into it.
"Seeing how many Aragamis were following them, I think we just arrived." Lindow said while looking at the swarming flying Aragamis. He then just finished off his cigarette and looked seriously at the distance.
'So, that's the heroine, huh.' Lev, on the other hand, thought differently as he focused his attention on a particular person on top of the plane holding a weapon.
