Chapter 28: Across the Line
Andrew Fray POV:
I didn’t bother trying the door Holly and King had left through; there was a security camera pointed at it. Instead, I made my way around to the far side of the building where the loading doors would be. I could see fewer cameras on this side of the building, and far more ways to get in.
Those ways in were locked too, naturally.
Fortunately, one does not spend three years as a PI without learning how to pick locks. That made getting in easy enough.
I didn’t bother turning the lights on once I was inside. If King had left anyone to keep an eye on the place, getting the lights would definitely attract attention that I didn’t want. The small flashlight I’d brought with me would be enough. What I found very quickly was a series of cage fighting rings. That made me feel better because it explained why Holly was so happy. She would love this.
