Chapitre 109: To converse and to comfort
At first, things started slowly and a decent amount of time was simply dedicated to comforting Dahlia as she showed her vulnerability to the Archduchess. Over time though, eventually things managed to calm down a little bit and the conversation managed to start up properly with Valentina speaking softly and trying to comfort her love all the while.
"Where do I start? I'll let you know right now that you're going to be ok. You're already on the path to recovering and you'll only get better from here. It might take a bit of time, but that's all. It's only a matter of time until you're feeling right as rain again. Now, for getting into the specifics... why don't you tell me how much you remember?"

I took yesterday off, and will probably take more days off as mentioned in my previous authors note. I was actually sick last night, so taking the time to relax didn't even help much. Nonetheless, it was nice and I know I probably need a bit more.
On another note and just a fun tangent, sometimes proofreading can be pretty fun. Usually it isn't so bad and either fixing up mistakes, editing things so that I don't repeat the same word too much, or rephrasing things to make them feel better. But sometimes it's just funny. The other day I wrote squirting instead of squinting, and today i wrote whore instead or wore. The moral of the story is that my proofreading apparently results in a easier to read, but decidedly less lewd novel.
