The woman in front of Dahlia was immediately recognised as her mother, but she was also clearly different from how the girl remembered her. Unlike the Archduchess, Dahlia had never seen her mother show her seraphim blooded magic before. Where before Sabrina had seemed like a pretty but unhinged noblewoman, now she gave off the aura of something else entirely.
Where before her platinum hair and grey eyes were uncommon but relatively typical, now her hair flowed like mercury and her eyes almost glowed silver. A golden halo above her head illuminated her features and left Dahlia feeling a sense of overwhelming pressure, while the six ethereal golden wings to her back seemed to somehow eclipse everything else. Dahlia had heard of the seraphim, but experiencing one was different. It instilled reverence and fear, even without her mother being pure blooded.
Here's another long one. Surprisingly, this came out far faster than the previous chapter. I was in a good writing flow today! (It helps that I actually had a decent sleep for once).
Now, I know many of you hate Sabrina with a passion, so I hope this little beat down sated your bloodlust at least for the time being. I know there are also some questions about how her fate magic works and, while that will be dependent on each individual spell, hopefully this chapter helped explain a bit of it. More details will be given in the future as well.
For the time being though, I hope you enjoyed and that you are having a wonderful day~
