Chapitre 74: Finding The Ring - (Makai's Point of View)

Storm growls in frustration when nothing happens after he tries to summon the painting from the wall.

"Dammit! I hate it when things are protected against seeking magic."

"Can you elevate yourself up to where the painting is and remove it by hand?" I ask since I've seen him perform similar magic before.

He blew out a breath. "I can, except that this cupboard is blocking me. My arms won't reach over it."

I chuckle at how cute he looks giving the death glare to the cupboard. He turns to me, still frowning. "How are we going to get it from up there behind this heavy locker cupboard?"

He tries pushing it with magic. It doesn't work either. "I think they've added extra magic weight to it to make it this heavy, and I can't move it with magic."

"You should try moving it," Kitai suggests to me.

I look at the cupboard and push it slightly, surprised when it moves a few inches. Storm stares at me with wide eyes. "Did you just move it?"
