"You would eventually have to come out of bed and step out of the room, you know," Auntie Sophie said to Gemma who has been lying in bed all day.

It's been two days since Gemma came to stay at Auntie Sophie's place and she has barely left come out of the bedroom. Getting her to talk was a hassle on Auntie's Sophie's end as she would have to practically force words out of her mouth.

"If you are avoiding your husband, he already left a while ago."

Miguel had come to see Gemma but refused seeing him.

Gemma's response was a grunt as she turned to face the other side of the bed. Auntie Sophie came and sat down beside her.

"He said he is working to find out how you ended up taking the abortion pill," Auntie Sophie said in a small tone.

"Good for him," Gemma said with indifference.
