The next morning Gemma woke up to find Miguel watching her, and she immediately became self-conscious, using the back of her palm to wipe the corners of her mouth just in case she drooled at night.

Miguel had an amused smile on his face.

"What?" Gemma asked, shooting him a look.

"And there comes the look," he groaned softly. "You looked very peaceful when you were sleeping a while ago. You look beautiful when you aren't making trouble."

"Really? So you are saying I go about making trouble? I'm a troublemaker?" Gemma asked, already putting on a defense.

"That was meant to be a compliment."

"Yeah right! You need to work on your game," Gemma said rolling her eyes.

"Hmm, maybe I should," he said, gently rubbing his thumb across her bottom lip. "I see you slept well," he said in a soft tone.

"And how do you know that? Weren't you supposed to be sleeping?"
