Chapitre 36: What Happened?

A few hours later when Andrew came back with Helen, Miguel was still in the room with Gemma, holding her hand.

He was afraid to leave her side. He didn't want anything to happen to her while he is away.

"Were you able to get the blood and the other things that you needed?" Miguel asked Helen as she walked in carrying a cooler.

"Yeah, I got the blood in here. It's on ice." Helen said raising the cooler to Miguel.

Miguel noticed she had changed out of the scrubs she was putting on earlier. She now wore a black fitted top on blue jeans. Her slightly exposed cleavage didn't go unnoticed by Miguel.

"That's good," Miguel said as he stood up from the bed and went to stand in a corner of the room. He watched Helen as she went about transfusing the blood to Gemma.

"It will take some time for all of the blood to be transferred into her," Helen said when she was done.

"I will be coming to check up on her from time to time."
