Chapitre 18: Hey, I Am Feeling Really-
She said to herself, and with a soft pitiful chuckle exiting her mouth, she ran off after Luthiel, giving it her all to catch up to him.
"Hey, please slow down!!" She pleaded, but Luthiel, who didn't care at all, ignored her and continued running at his pace.
A frustrated breath exited Yennefer's nose and with an angered expression on her face, she increased her speed, eventually catching up to him.
"You are really mean." She said to him and Luthiel narrowed his eyes at her.
"I know I am." He replied and shocked at how shamelessly he gave that reply, her eyes flickered rapidly.
"You are really thick-skinned." She shook her head in disbelief and knowing that she doesn't have much time before she passes out or something, she quickly proceeded to ask her question.
"Back to where we were. How do you know that she is a cursed sorceress?" She inquired and Luthiel turned his head to look at her.
"Because I know almost everything about magic and its users. While growing up, I learned them, maybe practiced them a little, and now I use them to my advantage."
He explained and Yennefer, who did not expect that answer, stared at him in a bit of surprise.
"So…you are not completely innocent as I thought." She chuckled softly and Luthiel glared at her.
"Hmm…does the emperor know about this?" She pried and Luthiel shook his head at her.
"No, he doesn't." He replied and a bit confused about something, Yennfer raised her brow at him.
"He doesn't know and yet You told me… Why?" She inquired and Luthiel abruptly stopped running.
He turned to her and gazed at her for a few moments before proceeding to speak.
"Because I know you are not so stupid to do that. But if you want to, be my guest." He responded with no expression visible on his face and averted his gaze from her.
"We have reached the finish line." He announced before Yennefer could say a word and turned around to walk away, but Yennefer who felt her head turning as a result of dizziness, grabbed him by the arm of his jacket.
"Hey…I am feeling really…"
She hadn't even finished her sentence, when she unexpectedly vomited on him, causing everywhere to instantly go silent.
Luthiel's eyes immediately widened in instant rage and this deep angered expression emerged on his face.
"You-" He hadn't even reacted yet when Yennefer who had blacked out fell into his arms, which he, in turn, caught her and held her from falling.
His eyes furiously flapped and he found his heart racing rapidly for reasons he couldn't tell.
This was the closest a woman had ever been to him and he honestly doesn't like the feeling.
He lowered his head to look at her and the urge to leave her there on the floor overwhelmed him, but knowing that that would be extremely mean of him since it was kind of his fault that she is in that situation, he shook his head and took a deep breath.
'Be a good person just this once. It won't happen again.'
He said to himself and carefully, he put his right arm under Yennefer's legs and his right on her shoulder, then gently lifted her into his arms in a bridal style.
He began to walk away towards the castle to take her to her chamber.
As expected, everyone, including the maids and guards who knew the kind of person he was, stared at him with disbelief and shock on their faces.
Impossible!!!

The maids who couldn't believe their eyes gazed at him in a trance and annoyed by this, a deep frown ensued on Luthiel's face.
He ignored them and walked into the castle, then up the stairs and took her to her chamber.
He called for Livia and Masha and handed her over to them.
"Take care of her. She is….exhausted."
He said to them and as though realizing something, he shook his head and walked away before Livia and Masha could say a word.
He proceeded to make his way to his own chamber which was close to the crown prince's chamber, but he however bumped into the crown prince, who immediately raised his brow at him.
As the crown prince's personal guard, the emperor gave him a chamber next to the prince's own, so that he would be able to protect the prince to the fullest. After all, the crown prince was his only son.
"Are…you okay?" William asked on seeing the anxious look on his face and he raised his head to look at him.
"Yes, my lord." He replied and William gazed at him for a few moments before a half smile emerged on his face.
"I saw you carrying the assassin. She must have passed out, no?" He asked and Luthiel nodded at him.
"Yes…she did." He responded and William nodded his head.
"I see…" He let out a soft breath and his eyes trailed down to his clothing which was smeared in vomit.
"She-"
"Yes, she did." Luthiel cut him off before he could finish his words and William blinked his eyes, not expecting his immediate reply.
"I see…" He nodded with a half smile on his lips and without saying another word, he turned around and walked back into his chamber.
Luthiel furrowed his brows a bit in confusion and walked away toward his chamber.
He stepped inside and shut the door behind him.
A long deep breath exited his nose and he took his jacket off.
He walked towards the mirror and took his shirt off.
His eyes trailed from his chest down to his belly and he quickly shut his eyes, trying not to recall what gave him those long deep scars on his skin.
He turned to have his back facing the mirror and glanced at the even deeper ones on his back.
A subtle breath escaped his mouth and he walked away from the mirror.
'Don't think about it. Don't think about it.' He repeatedly said to himself and strolled into the washroom.
He glanced at the tub where he saw that his bath had been readied and stripped himself.
He slipped into the tub and unabanded his hair, letting it fall, almost reaching his waist.
A soft breath of relief fled his nose and he relaxed inside the tub with his eyes closed.
