Her pay had never been higher, but her job had never been slower.

Dr. Salus sat in her office at a large wooden desk situated in front of a wall of what seemed to be degrees and awards. There were documents she was flipping through and signing.

It wasn't surprising to her that the elite warriors she was assigned to deal with rarely sought medical attention. They only needed her whenever there were emergencies and the soldiers had no choice but to seek her help.

She gave a sigh and pulled her glasses off of her eyes and placed them on top of her head. The pen she had been using before was tapping against her chin and she looked out the window on the opposite wall of her office.

Planet Ptoma wasn't her ideal environment, but the amount of money she was making to keep secrets for high-class soldiers was unheard of for a doctor.

It was midday and she considered that she should go to the main castle and seek lunch sooner or later.
