Chapitre 424: He Denied It At First

Humans were unexpectedly almost able to wipe out the long-lived races. Perhaps Ferdinand could also find his end from them (or so he thought).

So, when he was sent to Valeria, he thought it was the perfect chance to find someone to kill him. He waited for years with nothing.

But one day, encountered Icarus who was so much stronger than the others. He thought maybe, it could be him. So, he met with Icarus several times to gauge his strength. It wasn't his intention, but they ended up becoming close. And he realized that just like Raymond and Alwin, Icarus would not try to kill him.

So, he had to find another way to die. But instead, he found a reason to live in a fragile woman he happened to encounter.

And just like the other dragons, he simply knew, she was the one for him.

He denied it at first.

It was simply so unreasonable to like someone to that extent upon meeting them for the first time. But the more he gazed at her, the more he was certain.
